Substitute Teaching Staff

Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma or GED.  Must be age 18 or older.  Prefer a minimum of Technical College Certificate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and three months experience in a licensed center. Must provide proof of education qualification. Mandatory participation in a pre-employment drug-screen and criminal records check; Ability to physically handle duties that may include, but are not limited to, lifting up to 60 lbs, carrying children and participating in floor level activity.


POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR FALL 2017

Preschool Teacher

Teacher is responsible for providing children with early childhood education, early intervention and special education, as applicable, as well as promoting child development and providing developmentally appropriate care giving and nurturing.  The Teacher supports supervision of paraprofessionals and guides and supports community volunteers working within the classroom.  

Minimum Qualifications:
Child Development Associate (CDA).  Prefer Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, Early Childhood Education and/or Special Education with Georgia T-4 Certification.   Must provide proof of education qualification. Mandatory participation in a pre-employment drug-screen and criminal records check; Ability to physically handle duties that may include, but are not limited to, lifting up to 60 lbs, carrying children and participating in floor level activity.

Part and Full Time Paraprofessionals

Paraprofessionals are responsible for providing support to the teacher, children and community volunteers in the morning early intervention program, and may also have extended-day schedule and duties providing quality program to children enrolled in the afternoon program.  Successful employees have positive attitudes, excellent teamwork skills, and flexibility to change and adapt.  Employees must read and respond to written information and have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and must comply with the policies, procedures and quality standards of Challenged Child and Friends.

Qualifications: Prefer minimum of Technical College Certificate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and six months experience in a licensed center; require high school diploma or G.E.D. and age 18; Must provide proof of education qualification. Mandatory participation in a pre-employment drug-screen and criminal records check; Ability to physically handle duties that may include, but are not limited to, lifting up to 60 lbs, carrying children and participating in floor level activity.


Substitute Teaching Staff

Substitute Nursing Staff

Qualifications:  Must be RN or LPN with current Georgia license and hold liability insurance. Pediatric experience preferred. 


Speech-Language Pathologist


Qualifications:  
CFY or CCC-SLP with current Georgia state license and hold liability insurance. Pediatric experience preferred.
