Challenged Child and Friends seeks to help families connect with the community by providing resources that include community support, financial aid, available camps, activities, etc. We also work with our parent group, The Parent/Teacher Connection (PTC) to provide enrichment activities and information for families. Respite is one of the support services offered to our families. Respite provides parents a chance to have time away from their children outside of the school day for a small fee. Parents can relax knowing that their children will be in the hands of professionals trained in the care of children with special needs.
Character Education is another support service that is provided to our families. Each month a different character trait is explored through the use of animal puppets and a variety of lesson plans.
