Volunteers gathered on April 30 to celebrate an exciting year of service for Challenged Child and Friends. Volunteers who stood out among their peers were recognized for their outstanding service to the agency:

o Parent Volunteer of the Year – Carina Doyle

o Administrative Volunteer of the Year – Corrine White

o Program Volunteer of the Year – Amy Nabors

o “Above and Beyond” Volunteer of the Year – Cheryl Hardin

These individuals represented the hundreds of volunteers who serve Challenged Child and Friends in a variety of ways. We are grateful for these volunteers who work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of our children and families. To serve children with disabilities and their typical peers through state-of-the-art educational, nursing, therapeutic, and family counseling services in an integrated environment.


Challenged Child and Friends will become Georgia’s nationally recognized, accredited early intervention center where children with disabilities and their families, along with their typical peers, will achieve their full potential. We will share our model of excellence to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our region, state, and nation.
